Nicole Lord wants to be a good wife, but there's a difference between being supportive and supporting her husband, who quit his job to write a screenplay she's never seen. He won't even help take care of their son, leaving Nicole to run the house and work full-time at her Mischief Bay Pilates studio. Can she say enough is enough without losing the man she loves?

Sacrificing a personal life for her career is how Shannon Rigg rose to become vice president in her firm, but she wonders now whether she made the right choice. An exciting new relationship with a great guy convinces her that it might not be too late—until he drops a bombshell that has her questioning whether she can have it all. And if she can, does she want it?

Although Pam Eiland has a beautiful house and a husband she adores, she feels… restless. She wonders who a stay-at-home mom becomes after the kids are grown. Finding sexy new ways to surprise her husband brings the heat and the humor back to their marriage, but when unexpected change turns her life upside down, she'll have to redefine herself. Again.

Hello flowers from my garden !!!!
Sorry for the disappearance, but I've been holding onto the service, but I'm back and on a roll !!!!!
I do not know if has happened to you, but I'm at the stage where I am saturated bastard, fighters and even cowboys.
Not that I dislike more, far from it, but it seems the authors write about the same thing. Whenever a certain book !!!!!!!! And then does it become the sameness. Lol
Thinking thus have sought new authors or at least books with different synopsis. I was very happy to find a well-known author with a story so captivating and totally believable.
This is the first book in the series and tells the story of three friends who live in Southern California.
Pam is the oldest 50, Shannon around 40 and Nicole around 30. Each has a different lifestyle from the one that made the story exciting to see how one was there for the other even in such different ages.
Through really unusual and at the same time hilarious situations, because the author really made me laugh and cry, I think she was happy to describe three very different women at the same time with the same goal: Be happy.
Nicole faces a marriage in which practically creates a child alone since her husband quit his job to become a screenwriter.
Shannon is successful at work, but begins to need to be a mother and then find that Adam is a widower with two young children.
I confess that of all the stories of Pam was the one that stirred me more, really touched me a lot. She is feeling the weight of age and even in their marriage of 31 years and still have to deal with other issues.
I think anyone reading this book will somehow relate to one of the women.
Susan Mallery tells a wonderful story and makes you want to live in Mischief Bay and take Nicole Pilates, go to a barbecue at Pam's house and go to lunch with Shannon.
I think I have become a friend too and after reading this book !!!!
Anyway it was a wonderful book for sure I will have to read the continuation.

Olá flores do meu jardim!!!!
